Vegan Hotels Turin compares three stays with unusually clear, currently documented plant-based breakfast provision. The selection ranges from an intimate vegan B&B in Lingotto/Mirafiori Sud to a central boutique hotel with certified vegan pastries and a practical value hotel with homemade vegan breakfast choices every day.

Only Un Buon Inizio presents its documented food service as fully vegan. Hotel Victoria and Hotel Miramonti are conventional mixed hotels, so “vegan-friendly” applies only to the specific breakfast provision described below. Menus and suppliers can change; confirm dairy, eggs, honey, ingredients, portion sizes and shared preparation directly before arrival.

HOTEL 01 · FULLY VEGAN FOOD SERVICE

Un Buon Inizio

The strongest vegan choice in Turin: a one-room, family-run B&B whose entire documented breakfast offering is 100% vegan and mostly organic.

Un Buon Inizio occupies the ninth floor of a residential building on Corso Traiano in the Lingotto/Mirafiori Sud area. Its single guest room has a king-size bed and private bathroom, creating a quieter and more personal alternative to a conventional city hotel. The historic centre is not on the doorstep, but tram 4 connects the area with Porta Nuova and tram 10 with Porta Susa; Lingotto railway station is approximately 1.8 kilometres away.

The property explicitly calls itself a vegan B&B and states that its rich breakfast is 100% vegan. The current official service page lists plant-based drinks, homemade cakes, toast or rusks, jams, plant-based yoghurt, cereals, fruit juices, freshly squeezed juice and seasonal fruit, with tea, coffee and cappuccinos made using soy or oat milk. Gluten-free alternatives are available on request. No lunch or dinner service is advertised, so the fully vegan classification applies to the B&B’s documented food service rather than to a full-service restaurant operation.

The breakfast is described as mostly organic, and the room page says soap, shampoo and shower gel are supplied in refillable glass bottles. Good tram access can also support a car-free stay. These are useful, specific measures, but no current independent environmental certification was identified.

  • Classification: Fully vegan for its documented on-site food service; breakfast is 100% vegan and no other meal service is advertised.
  • Vegan highlight: Homemade vegan cakes, plant-based yoghurt, several plant drinks and vegan cappuccinos are part of the included breakfast.
  • Location: Corso Traiano 13 in Lingotto/Mirafiori Sud, around 30 minutes from the centre by tram.
  • Sustainability: Mostly organic breakfast, refillable glass toiletry bottles and useful public-transport links; no independent green certification verified.
  • Best for: Travellers prioritising a genuinely vegan breakfast, personal hosting, Lingotto events and a quiet residential base.

HOTEL 02 · VEGAN-FRIENDLY

Hotel Victoria & Iside Spa

The best central and more luxurious option, with certified vegan pastries and several clearly listed plant-based breakfast staples.

Hotel Victoria stands on Via Nino Costa, a quiet pedestrian-only street in Turin’s historic centre. Its 106 rooms, courtyard garden and Iside Spa make it a full-service boutique base within walking distance of the city’s Baroque squares, museums, theatres, shopping streets and restaurants. It is the easiest choice here for travellers who want to sightsee mostly on foot.

The hotel’s unusually detailed official breakfast list has a dedicated “Certified Vegan” section naming plain or jam-filled croissants, pain au chocolat and chocolate cookies. The wider buffet also lists soy, rice and oat milk, soy yoghurt, cereals, nuts, fresh fruit, bread and several organic jams. However, the same buffet contains meat, dairy and eggs, and the property does not document a separate vegan preparation area. Treat this as a strong vegan-friendly breakfast rather than a vegan kitchen, and ask staff which breads, cereals, spreads and hot drinks are fully plant-based on the day.

Hotel Victoria advertises bicycles for exploring Turin, and its breakfast information identifies organic jams as well as bread and pastries sourced from local artisan producers. These are specific positive features, but no current third-party sustainability certification was found and they should not be presented as proof of a property-wide environmental programme.

  • Classification: Vegan-friendly; conventional hotel with a mixed breakfast buffet.
  • Vegan highlight: Certified vegan croissants, pain au chocolat and cookies, plus three plant milks and soy yoghurt.
  • Location: Via Nino Costa 4 on a pedestrian street in the historic centre, close to major sights.
  • Sustainability: Hotel bicycles, selected organic jams and some local artisan breakfast sourcing; no independent green certification confirmed.
  • Best for: First-time visitors, central sightseeing, couples, spa time and travellers wanting vegan pastries at breakfast.

HOTEL 03 · VEGAN-FRIENDLY

Hotel Miramonti Torino

The practical value option: a three-star hotel with vegan choices available on the buffet every day, including homemade vegan cakes and brioche.

Hotel Miramonti is on Piazza Derna in the Aurora/Vanchiglia area, outside the most touristic part of central Turin. Tram 4 stops a few metres from the entrance and reaches Porta Palazzo and Piazza Castello in roughly 20 minutes. The location works especially well for budget-conscious visitors who do not need to walk directly from the hotel to every central attraction.

The hotel’s current breakfast page explicitly says vegan alternatives are available every day and require no advance notice. It identifies homemade vegan cakes and brioche, rice, soy, almond and oat milk, and a wide assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables. Breakfast is included, with early weekday service from 6:30 AM. Because cured meats, dairy and eggs are also served on the buffet, this remains a mixed vegan-friendly breakfast. Separate utensils, cooking surfaces and allergy controls are not documented and should be confirmed directly.

Miramonti lists a 22 kW electric-vehicle charger and emphasises Piedmontese products at its bar. The hotel also describes its approach to sustainability in terms of plastic and waste awareness, respect for staff and lasting working relationships. These are self-reported practices rather than a verified certification; the tram immediately outside is the clearest practical advantage for a lower-car city stay.

  • Classification: Vegan-friendly; conventional three-star hotel with a mixed breakfast buffet.
  • Vegan highlight: Daily homemade vegan cakes and brioche, four plant milks, fruit and vegetables without advance notice.
  • Location: Piazza Derna 238 in Aurora/Vanchiglia, with tram 4 to the centre from just outside.
  • Sustainability: 22 kW EV charging, regional bar products, self-reported social and waste awareness, and strong tram access; no third-party certification verified.
  • Best for: Value, early breakfast, public-transport access and travellers wanting more than fruit and plant milk.

Choosing a vegan-friendly hotel in Turin

Un Buon Inizio is the clear choice for the strongest vegan commitment, Hotel Victoria & Iside Spa combines a walkable central setting with certified vegan pastries, and Hotel Miramonti offers the best value and the broadest explicitly described everyday vegan buffet selection.

For fully plant-based meals away from the hotels, L’Orto Bistrò currently operates as a 100% plant-based restaurant at Piazza Palazzo di Città 6/A. Opening times and menus can change, so check the restaurant’s official site before travelling.
