Your Egypt accommodation hub

Choose the destination.
Then check the food.

A city break and a week at a beach resort call for different meal arrangements. This hub brings the local research together so you can compare the setting, the evidence for vegan food and the questions still to ask before reserving.

Especially important for Luxor and Marsa Alam: the linked guides do not establish a complete current vegan meal arrangement at any of their six featured properties. Obtain a specific kitchen reply before relying on included meals.

A practical starting point

The numbers describe this collection, not a popularity ranking. Published food evidence applies to the particular hotel or restaurant, never to an entire city or coastline.

The Egypt accommodation collection

15 places to compare,
with the food evidence visible

These concise profiles lead to the detailed local articles. The three hotels in our earlier Egypt collection remain included, without presenting their older food descriptions as new confirmations.

Affiliate disclosure: Booking.com buttons are affiliate links. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. Every button below is labelled “Search” because it opens hotel-name results, not a verified room offer or an agreed vegan package. Check the full property name, address, room category and meal inclusions.

01 · Garden City

Published vegan options

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza

The property explicitly lists vegan menu items. It is the Garden City option in our Cairo comparison; the statement does not establish identical choices at every restaurant. Request the actual breakfast and any dinner you intend to eat at the hotel. [E1]

Food basis: Operator statement; confirm dishes, venues and rate inclusions.

02 · Giza side of Greater Cairo

Published vegan options

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence

This separate Four Seasons property also explicitly lists vegan menu items. Keep its Giza Street address and restaurant reservations distinct from Nile Plaza. A Giza location does not mean a hotel beside the pyramids, and breakfast needs its own food agreement. [E2]

Food basis: Property-specific operator statement; breakfast and meal inclusions separately.

03 · Ramlet Beaulac, Cairo

Vegan confirmation required

Fairmont Nile City

Fairmont is the plant-forward alternative in the Cairo guide. That description does not establish that every proposed dish excludes eggs, dairy or other animal ingredients. Ask for named vegan meals before relying on a breakfast-inclusive rate.

Food basis: Plant-forward enquiry lead, not a verified vegan meal arrangement.

04 · Luxor West Bank

Vegan confirmation required

Nile Valley Hotel & Restaurant

The guide documents a vegetarian restaurant menu and an advance dietary-request option. Those provide specific dishes to discuss, but the menu also includes egg-based choices. Agree a substantial breakfast and dinner with the kitchen rather than treating every vegetarian item as vegan.

Food basis: Vegetarian menu and dietary requests; vegan preparation unconfirmed.

05 · Luxor West Bank

Vegan confirmation required

Djorff Palace

Djorff offers vegetarian choices and a way to discuss dietary needs. Its ordinary breakfast is mixed. Ask what a complete vegan version would include, then plan the room, meal times and river-crossing arrangements together. A boutique setting is not evidence of vegan catering.

Food basis: Dietary-accommodation lead; complete vegan meals unconfirmed.

06 · Luxor city side

Vegan confirmation required

Steigenberger Nile Palace

This is the larger hotel alternative in the Luxor guide. Its invitation to discuss dietary preferences is not an explicit vegan-menu commitment. Resolve breakfast and dinner before purchasing a package, and check the hotel’s outside-food policy rather than assuming takeaway food can be your backup.

Food basis: General dietary-enquiry route; vegan meal provision unverified.

Hurghada & nearby bays

Full destination guide →

07 · Hurghada promenade

Published plant-based menu

JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach

Aqua publishes a plant-based section with lentil-and-vegetable curry and mushroom risotto, plus explicitly vegan desserts. That is concrete evidence for a restaurant meal, not a guarantee of vegan breakfast or unlimited restaurant access. Confirm the visit and the other daily meals. [E3]

Food basis: Aqua menu; restaurant reservations and board inclusions separately.

08 · Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna

Vegan confirmation required

Three Corners Ocean View

Retained from our original Egypt collection, Ocean View is the adults-only El Gouna option. The older vegan-friendly description is not a new property-specific food confirmation. Ask the hotel for breakfast, main dishes and snacks rather than applying a general brand policy to this property.

Food basis: Earlier collection; current vegan food needs reconfirmation.

Earlier hotel portrait →

09 · Madinat Makadi, Makadi Bay

Vegan confirmation required

Iberotel Makadi Beach

Our earlier collection describes vegan options at this Makadi resort. The local guide retains that connection without claiming a newly verified daily menu. Request a sample day of food and check suitable snacks, cooking fats and restaurant access before choosing an all-inclusive rate.

Food basis: Earlier editorial listing, not a fresh kitchen commitment.

Earlier hotel portrait →

10 · Soma Bay holiday area

Vegan confirmation required

Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay

This family-oriented resort is also retained from the earlier collection. A mixed buffet and several venues do not by themselves confirm suitable vegan food. Ask about all daily meals and the conditions for speciality-restaurant visits, including limits and supplements.

Food basis: Earlier vegan-friendly listing; current meal preparation unconfirmed.

Earlier hotel portrait →

11 · Coraya Bay

Vegan confirmation required

Steigenberger Coraya Beach

Coraya Beach is the adults-only candidate in the Marsa Alam comparison. Its buffet and à la carte venues explain the dining format, not a confirmed vegan daily menu. Request suitable dishes at each meal and match the reply to the precise board arrangement in your quote.

Food basis: Accommodation and dining-format evidence only; vegan meals unverified.

12 · Near Port Ghalib

Vegan confirmation required

Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort

Fayrouz Plaza offers a family-resort alternative near Port Ghalib. The local guide separates its named dining venues from the brand’s property-dependent dietary information. Ask this hotel directly for complete vegan meals and snacks, including the needs of children in your party.

Food basis: A brand-wide policy is not a property-specific vegan commitment.

13 · Coast north of Marsa Alam town

Vegan confirmation required

The Oasis Marsa Alam

The Oasis is the smaller chalet-style candidate. Its published food description covers mixed breakfast and dinner buffets, with lunch separately available à la carte. Beans, rice and vegetables are useful items to ask about, but the recipe and cooking fats still need checking.

Food basis: Mixed-food description, not an explicit vegan-menu statement.

14 · Four Seasons Boulevard

Published vegan options

Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh

The resort explicitly states that vegan menu items are available. Use that as the starting point for a food discussion, then ask which venues serve your breakfast, lunch and dinner. The statement neither makes the whole resort vegan nor includes every meal in every room rate. [E4]

Food basis: Property-specific operator statement; exact meals and charges separately.

15 · Nabq Bay

Vegan confirmation required

Steigenberger Alcazar

Amoura’s vegetarian menu gives specific dishes to discuss, including vegetable preparations and falafel. It does not establish complete vegan preparation or breakfast. Check stock, cooking fats and accompaniments, then agree restaurant reservations and any supplements.

Food basis: Vegetarian-menu lead; vegan breakfast and preparation unconfirmed.

Continuity with the earlier collection

Your original Egypt hotel profiles

Iberotel Makadi Beach, Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay and Three Corners Ocean View are all retained in the Hurghada-region guide and the directory above. Their existing individual portraits remain available. The updated food-evidence labels should take precedence over broader claims in older coverage.

The previous country overview did not contain verified, property-specific hotel photographs for these entries. This hub uses credited destination photography instead; no unrelated beach, room or pool is labelled as one of these hotels.

Before you reserve

Three checks for a workable vegan stay

1. Agree the actual meals

Request a complete breakfast and the lunches, dinners and snacks you expect to eat on site. Ask about stock, sauces, butter, ghee, eggs, dairy and honey. A named selection is more useful than a general promise about “vegetarian food”.

2. Read the board conditions

Check whether suitable dishes are part of your chosen rate, require advance notice or attract supplements. Ask about speciality-restaurant reservations and visit limits. All-inclusive describes a package, not the ingredients of every meal.

3. Match food to your plans

Confirm the exact property address, pickup point and the meals you will actually use. Arrange food for early departures separately. Keep booking terms flexible while the kitchen’s reply or a necessary transfer remains unresolved.

We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, ghee, eggs or honey. Please describe a complete breakfast and the other meals available for our dates. Which venues serve them, what does our selected rate include, and are advance notice, reservations, visit limits or supplements involved?

Useful answers

Vegan hotels in Egypt: FAQ

Are all 15 hotels fully vegan?

No. This is a mixed collection of conventional hotels with published food options and conditional accommodation candidates. None is identified here as entirely vegan. The labels describe the food evidence, not independent certification of rooms, toiletries or the whole property.

Which entries have explicit vegan or plant-based food evidence?

Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza, Four Seasons Cairo at The First Residence and Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh expressly list vegan menu items. JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach publishes Aqua’s plant-based menu, including vegan-labelled desserts. Exact dishes, breakfast and rate inclusions still need checking.

Are the Luxor and Marsa Alam hotels verified vegan-friendly?

Not on the evidence recorded in the linked guides. All six are conditional candidates. Their vegetarian menus, mixed buffets or dietary-enquiry routes do not establish a complete current vegan meal arrangement. Obtain a specific kitchen reply before booking.

Does an all-inclusive rate include suitable vegan food all day?

Not automatically. Ask what you will eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner, which snacks are suitable and whether speciality restaurants have visit limits. Establish ingredients and access separately from the package name.

Are all four Hurghada-guide hotels in Hurghada city?

No. The guide covers the wider holiday region: JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach in Hurghada, Ocean View in El Gouna, Iberotel in Makadi Bay and Sentido in the Soma Bay area. They are different bases, not neighbouring hotels on one city beach.

Which hotels come from the original Egypt article?

Iberotel Makadi Beach, Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay and Three Corners Ocean View. Their individual portraits are preserved and linked. Their older vegan-friendly descriptions are explicitly separated from newly checked operator statements.

Are the images photographs of the featured hotels?

No. The hero shows Giza’s pyramids; the destination cards show Cairo, Luxor and Red Sea scenery. They are credited archival destination photographs, not representations of hotel rooms, private beaches or guaranteed views.

Why do the Booking.com buttons say Search?

They open results for the hotel name rather than a current verified property-specific offer. Check the full name, location and chosen room before reserving. Booking availability or an included breakfast does not replace an agreement with the hotel about vegan meals.

Sources and selection

Hub compiled on from the five published Egypt destination guides and the existing country collection. This is desk research, not a report of our own hotel visits or written kitchen confirmations for individual bookings. All four stronger food statements were rechecked on their operator pages for this hub; the other profiles retain the limits recorded in the local guides.

  1. [E1] Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza — Sustainability. Property-specific statement of vegan-menu availability. Local guide and research notes →
  2. [E2] Four Seasons Cairo at The First Residence — Sustainability. Separate property-specific statement of vegan-menu availability. Local guide and research notes →
  3. [E3] JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach — Aqua menu. Plant-based starters and mains, plus explicitly vegan desserts, within mixed dining. Local guide and research notes →
  4. [E4] Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh — Sustainability. Property-specific statement of vegan-menu availability. Local guide and research notes →

The Cairo research notes distinguish vegan statements from Fairmont’s plant-forward positioning. The Luxor and Marsa Alam notes document conditional candidates. Hurghada explains the retained properties and Aqua’s menu; Sharm el-Sheikh separates the Four Seasons statement from Alcazar’s vegetarian-menu lead.

This is an editorial collection, not a Google search-volume ranking, an exhaustive directory or a certification scheme. Menus, brand names, restaurant operation and package conditions can change. Source names and internal research links are supplied without adding competing hotel-direct booking buttons.
