Searching for vegan-friendly hotels in Porto de Galinhas and Maragogi? Compare two different beach-stay formats: Kembali Hotel, an adults-only hotel that explicitly accepts advance vegan dining requests, and Pousada Ecohar Yoga, a smaller Maragogi property offering vegetarian and vegan catering. Both provide operator-level food information, but neither should be mistaken for a fully vegan hotel. [C1] [C3]

Which coastal stay fits your plans?

Consider Kembali for an adults-only hotel break and Ecohar for a smaller vegetarian-and-vegan food setting. At either property, agree your actual meals and the rate inclusions before booking. Vegan preparation on request and a mixed vegetarian/vegan kitchen are different offers, not automatic guarantees of identical daily menus.

Two destinations, two states: Porto de Galinhas is in Pernambuco; Maragogi is in Alagoas. This is a coastal itinerary comparison, not one hotel district. The photographs and place names do not imply that every property sits beside the same natural pools.

Disclosure: both Booking.com buttons are affiliate links to matched hotel pages. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. A room booking does not by itself confirm a personalised vegan meal plan, an excursion or transfer.

Two beach bases with published food offers

Choose the setting before the meal package

Kembali identifies its location as Merepe II in Porto de Galinhas, within Ipojuca. Its operator presents an adults-only beachfront hotel with individually decorated rooms. This is the more conventional hotel format in the comparison. Check the exact room, age policy and arrival arrangements for your party. [C2]

Ecohar lists Avenida Senador Rui Palmeira 359, Maragogi, and describes a seafront restaurant. Its small scale offers a different starting point from a large resort. A yoga room and a food philosophy do not establish the activities or board basis included in every booking. [C3]

Our editorial suggestion is to pick the base that suits most of your days rather than compare the two addresses as interchangeable beach hotels. A stay in both destinations needs an intentional travel day and a separate transfer plan.

Hotels for a plant-based coastal holiday

Stay 01 · Vegan dining on advance request

Kembali Hotel Porto de Galinhas

Location: Merepe II, Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco
Best fit: an adults-only hotel stay with meals coordinated before arrival

Kembali's restaurant page specifically includes vegan preferences in its personalised dining offer and asks guests to give advance notice. The same page describes an ordinary mixed breakfast buffet. That makes an advance kitchen conversation the important step, rather than treating every breakfast dish as vegan. [C1]

Ask for a complete morning meal and the lunches or dinners you expect to eat at the hotel. A useful reply identifies the main dish, accompaniments and preparation, and states whether alternatives are included in your selected rate. For several nights, ask how the choices can vary.

The operator's accommodation overview describes a beachfront setting and individually styled rooms. Choose your actual category on space, layout and access, then decide how much dining you want on site. The hotel description and a room-only or breakfast-inclusive rate are not the same thing. [C2]

Our suggested approach is to arrange the first dinner when a late arrival makes that convenient, with breakfast settled for the next morning. Keep other meals flexible around your own plans. An adults-only label is also a booking requirement to check, not merely a description of the atmosphere.

Food basis: explicit operator offer to accommodate vegan dining with advance notice. This is conventional mixed-menu hospitality; actual dishes and inclusions need agreement.

Stay 02 · Vegetarian and vegan catering

Pousada Ecohar Yoga

Location: Avenida Senador Rui Palmeira, Maragogi, Alagoas
Best fit: a small coastal pousada with a plant-focused dining enquiry

Ecohar's own accommodation information explicitly describes vegetarian and/or vegan food. It presents eight apartments with air conditioning and private bathrooms, a seafront restaurant, a terrace and a yoga space. The mixed vegetarian/vegan wording should not be upgraded into an entirely vegan kitchen. [C3]

Tell the host that your meals must be vegan, not simply vegetarian. Ask which dishes avoid dairy, eggs and honey, and how breakfast and the main meals are organised. Request the actual services included in your booking rather than assuming that a retreat-style setting automatically means full board.

Compare the sleeping arrangement and room access with your party's needs. Discuss any classes or organised programme separately: their availability, language and charges belong to the activity enquiry, not to an assumption based on the property's name.

For a food-focused stay, our suggestion is to agree enough on-site meals to make the accommodation convenient while leaving room for the days you intend to go out. Ask about food for an early departure and any meal served after a late arrival. The small size may make direct coordination especially useful, but it does not replace a clear confirmation.

Food basis: operator-published vegetarian and vegan catering. Confirm the specifically vegan selection, meal schedule and rate inclusions; no whole-property vegan or health-benefit claim is made.

Agree the everyday meals

Breakfast, dinner and extras

Ask for a substantial savoury breakfast, suitable bread or another accompaniment, and your preferred drink. Include cooking fats, sauces, stocks and toppings in the ingredient check.

Record advance notice, serving times and supplements. A room rate, yoga class, restaurant meal and airport transfer may be four separate products.

A message for the hotel

We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, eggs or honey. Please describe breakfast and suitable main meals for our dates. What does our selected rate include, which dishes require advance notice, and are there supplements? Please confirm the room and any activities separately.

One beach base or a two-stop coast trip?

Our editorial suggestion is to stay in one place for most of a short coastal break. For a longer itinerary combining both destinations, leave enough time on the transfer day that the evening meal does not depend on an optimistic arrival estimate.

Book natural-pool outings, boat trips or other activities independently, checking current conditions, departure points and any access rules with the relevant provider. Hotel proximity to the sea does not establish swimming safety or an included excursion. This article does not provide verified tide tables or transport schedules.

Vegan-friendly Porto de Galinhas and Maragogi: FAQ

Are Kembali and Ecohar completely vegan?

No. Kembali accommodates advance vegan requests within mixed dining. Ecohar describes vegetarian and vegan catering. Neither is certified as an entirely vegan property by this guide.

Does Kembali explicitly accept vegan requests?

Yes. Its restaurant page identifies vegan preferences and asks guests to notify the team in advance. Agree your particular breakfast and main meals. [C1]

Is Kembali suitable for a holiday with children?

The hotel is advertised as adults-only. Check its current age requirement before booking; do not assume a standard family room is available. [C2]

Does Ecohar's vegetarian offer automatically meet vegan requirements?

No. Specify the exclusion of dairy, eggs, honey and other animal ingredients. Ask for the vegan meals and their inclusions under your actual rate. [C3]

Are Porto de Galinhas and Maragogi the same resort area?

They are separate coastal destinations in Pernambuco and Alagoas. This article compares two bases; it does not imply the hotels are neighbours.

Do the Booking.com links include a retreat or meal agreement?

No automatic dietary or activity agreement is implied. Both are matched property links; check your selected rate and confirm the food and any programme with the operator.

Research checked on . This is desk research, not our own stay or a kitchen agreement for your dates. Both selected operators explicitly discuss vegan catering, with their different conditions retained.

A concrete demand indicator: Booking.com's 27 August 2026 release placed Porto de Galinhas fourth among Brazilian travellers' accommodation searches for the 5–7 September holiday. The search window was 1 July–9 August 2026. This is a short-period platform ranking, not Google keyword volume, actual bookings, or an annual ranking of Brazilian regions. It does not assign the same rank to Maragogi. [C4]
