Poland city guide · Research checked 18 September 2026

A bakery breakfast delivered to your apartment, a cooked tofu plate beside the river, or a full-service hotel near the Old Town: there is more than one way to plan a vegan stay in Krakow. This guide compares three vegan-friendly hotels in Krakow—Plantonia Aparthotel, The Bridge Suites and Radisson Blu Hotel, Krakow—using the properties' own food information, not just a vegetarian filter. [K2] [K3] [K5]

Which Krakow hotel should you shortlist?

Start with Plantonia for apartment-style independence, The Bridge Suites for a specifically named cooked vegan breakfast, or Radisson Blu for a conventional hotel near the historic centre with operator-confirmed vegan breakfast options. Our recommendation is to choose the style of stay first, then confirm the food and rate together. These are three different approaches, not a ranking from best to worst.

Vegan-friendly does not mean exclusively vegan. Plantonia now describes itself as vegan-friendly and also advertises an additional vegetarian breakfast service. The other two hotels serve mixed diets. This guide does not certify any entire property as vegan. [K1] [K2]

Krakow hotels at a glance

Where to stay: three different city bases

Apartment flexibility

Plantonia's Kościuszki Street address is near the Vistula boulevards. Its studios and multi-bedroom apartments make it worth comparing when you want more independence than a standard hotel room. [K1]

Riverside Podgórze

The Bridge Suites is in Podgórze, by the Vistula. Choose it for that neighbourhood and a boutique-room format; a river view belongs to particular room categories, not every reservation. [K4]

Historic-centre access

Radisson Blu lists Straszewskiego 17, close to the Old Town and Wawel. It is a useful comparison for a sightseeing-led stay with conventional hotel services. [K6]

Map your planned evenings as well as daytime sights. Our suggestion is to decide whether you value your own kitchen, a neighbourhood base or hotel facilities most. Avoid choosing only from a photograph of the Main Market Square: none of the three is being presented as a room directly on that square.

Three vegan-friendly Krakow hotels to compare

Stay 01 · Apartment stay · Vegan bakery breakfast

Plantonia Aparthotel

Address: Kościuszki 27
Best suited to: longer stays, shared trips and travellers who like a kitchen of their own

Plantonia remains an important part of our Poland collection. Its current accommodation ranges from studios to larger apartments, and the operator describes a vegan-friendly concept with attention to materials and shared spaces. We use that current wording rather than repeating an unqualified fully vegan claim from older coverage. [K1]

The food page offers vegan Zaczyn breakfasts delivered to the apartment. Savoury spreads and plant-based chorizo feature in one choice; another is granola with soy yogurt. Equipped kitchens and a plant-based pantry add a self-catering option. However, the page also lists a separate externally supplied vegetarian breakfast: request the vegan Zaczyn option by name. [K2]

This is our first comparison for a stay that does not revolve around restaurant opening times. You might choose breakfast delivery on your first morning and prepare something simple yourself on another. For a group, compare the bedroom arrangement and the space you actually need before paying for a larger apartment.

Ask how breakfast ordering works, when delivery is available and what your selected offer includes. Plan dinner separately; an apartment kitchen is useful flexibility, not a promise of a vegan full-board restaurant service.

Why it is included: a specified vegan breakfast and self-catering facilities. The additional vegetarian service is why the guide does not describe all food provision as exclusively vegan.

Already in our collection: our earlier Plantonia portrait. This city guide uses the operator's current food wording where older descriptions differ.

Stay 02 · Podgórze · A cooked vegan breakfast

The Bridge Suites

Address: Przy Moście 7
Best suited to: a boutique riverside stay with a substantial breakfast to order

The Bridge Suites combines industrial-inspired interiors with rooms and suites in Podgórze. The hotel publishes separate river-view categories, so compare the exact room rather than assuming every photograph represents the standard option. [K4]

Art&Craft's breakfast menu explicitly names a vegan breakfast. Its components include scrambled tofu, vegan sausages, guacamole, mushrooms, vegetables and bread. This is a concrete cooked meal, not a recommendation inferred from fruit and a vegetarian buffet heading. The same menu also contains animal products, so the restaurant itself is not vegan. [K3]

Our suggested approach is to choose the room you like, then ask whether that named breakfast is included in the rate or ordered separately. Confirm your preferred drink and any substitutions at the same time. A complete plate can make a useful start to a walking day without committing you to lunch or dinner at the hotel.

For several nights, ask about alternatives and an earlier departure morning. Keep those as requests rather than assumed services. You may find that one dependable hotel breakfast plus evenings out suits your trip better than a broader dining package.

Why it is included: an explicitly vegan breakfast on the hotel's own restaurant menu. Other meals and rate inclusions should be checked separately.

Stay 03 · Central hotel · Operator-listed vegan options

Radisson Blu Hotel, Krakow

Address: Straszewskiego 17
Best suited to: a full-service city stay near the Old Town

Radisson Blu offers rooms and suites, a fitness centre and a sauna. Some accommodation categories have Old Town or Wawel views; those are category-specific features. Choose the hotel as a practical city base, then decide whether an upgraded view matters to your plans. [K6]

The hotel's dining FAQ explicitly lists vegan breakfast options at Solfeż. Its Salt & Co. dining information also mentions vegan choices. This is direct operator evidence, although less specific than The Bridge Suites' named breakfast plate: the pages do not establish the exact main dish you will receive each morning. [K5]

Ask the breakfast team for a substantial savoury option, suitable bread or cereal, spreads and a plant drink. A reply naming the food is more useful than repeating a dietary label. For a short visit, compare the breakfast-inclusive rate with the supplement you would pay separately.

Keep restaurant offers distinct. The same dining page advertises a Le Petit Chef experience with vegetarian wording; that should not be treated as a confirmed vegan dinner. Request a separate answer before reserving it. [K5]

Why it is included: official confirmation of vegan breakfast options. The exact dishes, evening menus and meal charges still need to match your reservation.

Book the breakfast you actually want

Make the order specific

Name the breakfast, not just the diet. At Plantonia, specify the vegan delivery. At The Bridge Suites, refer to the vegan plate. At Radisson, ask what the vegan selection contains that morning.

Compare the complete stay

Check room-only versus breakfast-inclusive offers, delivery or serving times, and any supplement. For an early start, arrange the meal separately before relying on normal service.

We eat vegan: no meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey or animal stock. Could you confirm a complete breakfast, including the bread, spreads and a plant-based drink? Please explain the serving or delivery time, what needs ordering in advance and whether it is included in our selected room rate.

Keep the reply with your booking. A vegan request and an allergy arrangement are different: explain any allergy separately and ask about preparation where relevant.

A relaxed three-night Krakow stay

Arrival evening: settle into your chosen neighbourhood and keep dinner simple. For an apartment stay, consider a small grocery shop rather than making the first evening depend on an ambitious restaurant booking.

First full day: group the Old Town, Main Market Square and Wawel area into a sightseeing plan that suits your pace. Second full day: leave time for the Vistula and a different neighbourhood such as Podgórze. These city settings are described in the hotels' own location material. [K1] [K4] [K6]

This is our suggested rhythm, not a timed tour. Select any museum visit separately, check its current arrangements, and leave enough time to enjoy your hotel rather than treating every day as a checklist.

Vegan-friendly hotels in Krakow: FAQ

Is Plantonia still described here as a fully vegan hotel?

No. Its current website uses vegan-friendly wording and lists an additional vegetarian breakfast service. The vegan Zaczyn breakfast remains a clearly identified option. [K1] [K2]

Which hotel has a named cooked vegan breakfast?

The Bridge Suites' Art&Craft menu lists one. Confirm the current order and whether it belongs to your chosen room rate. [K3]

Which option suits self-catering?

Plantonia is the apartment-based option with equipped kitchens. Compare the apartment layout and the facilities you need before booking. [K2]

Does Radisson's vegan breakfast statement cover every restaurant?

No. The breakfast and other venues have separate offers. A vegetarian event menu should not be assumed vegan. [K5]

Are the rural hotels in the Poland overview included here?

No. This is a Krakow city comparison. The earlier Siumno Izba listing concerns Brzegi, not Krakow, and is not relabelled as city accommodation.
