1Clear approach

Choose the place. Check the food. Enjoy the stay.

Find your starting point

Where should you stay in Poland as a vegan?

Start with the kind of holiday you want. Compare Krakow for an apartment-based stay or a city hotel, Warsaw for a different urban base, and Siumno Izba in Brzegi for a smaller countryside alternative. Plantonia is in Krakow, at Kościuszki 27—not Warsaw. [1]

The destination guides explain the food, location and room choices in more detail. This hub keeps our original hotel selection together while making the newer city comparisons easier to explore.

Plantonia, with room to make yourself at home

Plantonia remains a featured stay in our Poland collection and the first entry in our Krakow comparison. Discover its shared interior and salt room in the hotel photographs below.

Plantonia Aparthotel

Kościuszki 27 · Krakow · Apartment-style accommodation

Specified vegan breakfast

For travellers who like an apartment of their own. Plantonia offers equipped kitchens and a plant-based pantry alongside its accommodation. Its food page describes vegan breakfasts prepared by Zaczyn bakery and delivered to the apartment, with sweet and savoury choices. [2]

Our suggestion is to compare it for a longer city break, a shared trip or a stay where you prefer some self-catering flexibility. Decide which mornings you want breakfast delivered and which meals you would rather prepare or enjoy out in the city.

Ask about ordering, delivery times and your room-rate inclusion before booking. For the complete comparison with two other Krakow hotels, open the city guide.

Booking.com buttons are affiliate links. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. The two property buttons on this hub do not preselect travel dates or a meal package.

A quieter stay in southern Poland

Our original selection was not limited to city hotels. Siumno Izba B&B stays in the collection as a separate Brzegi option—not as a hotel in Krakow or Warsaw.

Vegan breakfast listed

Siumno Izba B&B Brzegi

Wierchowa 28, Brzegi. The Booking.com listing identifies a B&B with a garden and terrace and lists vegan among its breakfast options. It also shows other breakfast categories, so this is not evidence of an exclusively vegan kitchen. [3]

We have retained the property from our original Poland article. Use the current breakfast listing as a starting point for a direct question to the host: what will be served, what needs advance notice, and what belongs to the room rate?

For a stay involving days out, agree the breakfast time and any other meals you need. Do not assume dinner, a packed lunch or a particular activity is included. The earlier article's broader food descriptions are not a substitute for a current meal agreement.

Plan around your kind of holiday

Three ways to use this collection

These are suggested combinations, not tours, transport timetables or hotel packages. Start with the time you have and leave room to enjoy the place you choose.

01 · Stay a little longer

Krakow at your own pace

Compare Plantonia's apartment format with the two conventional hotel options. A kitchen and an agreed breakfast can be a useful combination when you prefer flexible days.

Compare Krakow stays →
02 · Change the city scene

A Warsaw city break

Choose your base around the places you plan to visit. Compare the breakfast evidence first, then decide which room and facilities justify spending more time at the hotel.

Compare Warsaw stays →
03 · Add a countryside pause

Krakow and Brzegi

Consider a city stay followed by the smaller B&B in southern Poland. Plan the transfer separately and settle the host's food arrangements before committing to a non-refundable booking.

Vegan-friendly, with the details made clear

The collection distinguishes the evidence for a meal from claims about the whole property. A useful hotel choice should work for your actual breakfast and dinner, not only for a dietary search filter.

Named vegan dish or breakfast

A specific option is described as vegan. Check the accompaniments, ordering arrangements and inclusion in your rate.

Vegan version or menu options

A hotel offers vegan choices or an adaptation. Specify the version and ask what the complete meal contains.

Vegan breakfast listed

A booking platform lists the category. Confirm the actual breakfast with the host; the label does not certify the entire kitchen.

We eat vegan, without meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey or animal stock. Please describe a complete breakfast and the other meals available for our dates. What needs ordering in advance, when is it served, and what is included in our selected room rate?

Keep the reply with your reservation. Discuss allergies separately: a vegan request is not an allergy-safety agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Planning a vegan-friendly stay in Poland

Is Plantonia in Krakow or Warsaw?

Plantonia Aparthotel is in Krakow, at Kościuszki 27. It is included in the Krakow guide and featured above with the hotel photographs from our original Poland collection. [1]

Are these all fully vegan hotels?

No. The collection includes vegan-friendly accommodation with specific breakfasts, menu options or vegan versions. Plantonia also offers a separate vegetarian breakfast, while Siumno Izba's platform listing includes several dietary breakfast categories. [2] [3]

Are the original Poland hotels still included?

Yes. Both Plantonia Aparthotel and Siumno Izba B&B Brzegi are retained. The newer city guides add further choices without removing those original properties from the country collection.

Where is Siumno Izba B&B?

The property is at Wierchowa 28 in Brzegi, in southern Poland. It is a separate countryside stay, not a Krakow or Warsaw city hotel. [3]

Which option is useful for self-catering?

Plantonia offers equipped apartment kitchens. Compare the apartment category and breakfast delivery arrangements with the way you prefer to spend your days. [2]

Does a Booking.com button reserve vegan meals?

No. It opens the property listing. Select the correct room and rate, then confirm the meals and any supplements with the accommodation before relying on them.

Updated 18 September 2026. This hub brings together the two published city guides and the two properties in the original Poland article. Plantonia appears in both the Krakow guide and the original selection, so it is counted once in the seven-stay total. This is desk research, not our own hotel inspection or a written food agreement for an individual guest. No live prices, availability, checkout or affiliate attribution were tested.
