Vietnam regional resort guide · checked 11 September 2026
Searching for vegan hotels in Nha Trang and Cam Ranh? Start by separating the beach region from the actual food offer. This guide compares Six Senses Ninh Van Bay with two resorts retained from our earlier Vietnam collection: Alma Resort Cam Ranh and An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay. Six Senses publishes a plant-based dining experience. For Alma and An Lam, the earlier vegan-friendly descriptions still need a current, specific kitchen confirmation.
Which resort has the clearest plant-based dining evidence?
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is the first enquiry in this selection: its destination-dining page explicitly includes entirely plant-based farm-to-table cuisine. Alma and An Lam remain useful accommodation candidates from our archive, but the current operator pages checked did not establish a complete vegan meal arrangement. The three entries therefore have different evidence levels. [N1] [N3] [N5] [N7]
Regional scope: the guide covers selected stays around Cam Ranh and Ninh Van Bay in Khanh Hoa. They are not presented as hotels on Nha Trang's central promenade. The title photograph shows Nha Trang destination scenery, not one of these resorts.

Quick comparison: three distinct starting points
Choose the setting, then agree the food
Cam Ranh: Alma's beach-resort format
Alma describes a Bai Dai beachfront resort with suites and villas. That makes it a beach-holiday candidate rather than a downtown Nha Trang address. Compare the accommodation type and the meals you expect to eat on site before deciding that a larger resort is the right base. [N3]
Ninh Van Bay: two separate properties
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay are different resorts. Six Senses describes a bay setting with villas and transfers by road and water; An Lam gives its location as the Hon Heo Peninsula. Their restaurants, packages and arrival arrangements should not be interchanged. [N2] [N6]
Not Six Senses Con Dao
Our existing Vietnam overview also includes Six Senses Con Dao. That is a separate destination and property, not another name for Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Keep the full hotel name on every enquiry and reservation. The older Con Dao portrait remains in the country collection; it is not counted among this guide's three stays. [N7]
Three resorts to compare for a vegan stay
Stay 01 · Operator-published plant-based experience
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay
Location: Ninh Van Bay, wider Nha Trang region
Best fit: a villa-based holiday with a specific plant-based dining lead
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay's destination-dining page includes entirely plant-based farm-to-table cuisine among its culinary experiences. This is the clearest current operator statement in the regional comparison. It supports asking for that particular dining experience; it does not establish that all restaurants, breakfast buffets or room rates are vegan. [N1]
Start the food discussion with the experience by name and ask when it operates, how to reserve it and what it costs. Then request a separate plan for the ordinary meals you will need during the rest of the stay. For a multi-night trip, one special dinner is only part of the decision.
The operator describes villas in different settings, including beachfront, overwater and rock formations, alongside road-and-water transfers. Choose the exact category and discuss access before booking. A dramatic villa setting may be the reason you travel, but it should not hide unresolved meal or arrival arrangements. [N2]
Our editorial starting point is to compare the villa, daily breakfast and a planned plant-based dinner as separate parts of the stay. Ask for suitable lunch choices and the food available after a late arrival. Confirm the sauces, broths and accompaniments as well as the main dish, rather than extending the plant-based experience's description to every menu.
Stay 02 · Earlier collection · confirmation required
Alma Resort Cam Ranh
Location: Bai Dai, Cam Ranh area
Best fit: travellers comparing a larger beach resort, subject to a clear vegan-food reply
Alma was already included in our Vietnam overview as vegan-friendly, so it remains part of this regional comparison. However, that earlier description is not being presented as a new confirmation from the kitchen. The current official pages checked describe the property and its dining venues, but did not provide an itemised vegan menu or a sufficiently specific vegan breakfast commitment. [N3] [N4] [N7]
The current accommodation information describes beachfront suites and villas. Alma Garden is one of the named food venues, with a mixed breakfast offering. Those details help you direct an enquiry, but neither a buffet nor a choice of cuisines makes a complete vegan meal automatic. [N3] [N4]
Ask the team to name a substantial breakfast, a lunch main and a dinner for the dates you are considering. Check plant milk, egg-free noodles, vegetable broth and sauces without fish or seafood ingredients. For a family stay, discuss the children's actual meals rather than relying only on a general dietary label.
Keep the reservation flexible until that reply is clear. The purpose of retaining Alma is to preserve a relevant resort from the existing collection while showing what still needs verification. It is an accommodation candidate with a previous vegan-friendly listing, not a newly verified promise of vegan catering.
From our existing collection: Alma Resort Cam Ranh hotel portrait. Its older food descriptions do not replace a current meal agreement.
Stay 03 · Earlier collection · confirmation required
An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay
Location: Hon Heo Peninsula, Khanh Hoa
Best fit: a retreat-style stay after agreeing a complete vegan meal plan
The property called “An Lam Villas” in our older overview is retained here under its current operator name, An Lam Retreats Ninh Van Bay. Its current dining pages identify Sen Restaurant, but the material inspected did not establish vegan preparation of a complete breakfast and dinner. The earlier vegan-friendly description is therefore treated as a lead to reconfirm, not independent evidence of today's menu. [N5] [N7]
The operator's All-Inclusive Dining offer includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sen, alongside specified transfer arrangements. This is useful package information, but the three-meal inclusion says nothing by itself about vegan ingredients. Ask whether every included meal can meet your needs and which dishes the kitchen proposes. [N6]
A resort-centred stay makes that discussion particularly important. Request a sample day's food, then check variety across several nights. Explain fish sauce, oyster sauce, animal stock, eggs, dairy and honey separately. Agree what is available on arrival and departure days and whether a special menu changes the package price.
Keep this Ninh Van Bay property distinct from the brand's Saigon River retreat and from Six Senses. Match the exact villa and arrival arrangements to the quote you receive. Our reason to retain An Lam is continuity with the previous collection and its relevant regional location; a current vegan-food confirmation is still required before treating it as a dependable vegan stay.
From our existing collection: earlier An Lam hotel portrait. Use the full Ninh Van Bay property name when making an enquiry.
What to settle before choosing a rate
From a food lead to a meal agreement
At Six Senses, ask how the plant-based experience fits the rest of your meals. For Alma and An Lam, obtain the vegan-food confirmation first. A reply naming dishes, ingredients, venues and charges is more useful than a general assurance about dietary requirements.
Then compare the room, transfer arrangements and cancellation terms. Keep uncertain meal provision separate from attractive accommodation photographs or a broad all-inclusive label.
A message for the resort
We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, fish sauce, oyster sauce, animal stock, dairy, eggs or honey. Please describe a complete day's meals for our dates and confirm the sauces and broths. Which meals are included in our rate, what requires advance booking, and are there any extra food or transfer charges?
Plan the holiday around the resort you actually book
For a mostly on-site holiday, give daily food variety as much attention as the villa. Work through breakfast, lunch, dinner and any snacks you need before accepting a package. For a sightseeing-led trip, decide how often you will return for meals rather than buying a broader plan simply because it is available.
Plan each journey from the exact property, not from a generic Nha Trang search pin. Cam Ranh and Ninh Van Bay are different bases, and a transfer that combines road and water needs its own arrival plan. Confirm the current route, last service and any charges with the resort; this article does not verify transport timetables.
The article is a focused regional comparison, not an exhaustive directory of Khanh Hoa. The Vietnam overview remains the starting point for the wider collection.
Nha Trang and Cam Ranh vegan hotel FAQs
Are all three resorts currently verified as vegan-friendly?
No. Six Senses publishes a plant-based dining experience. Alma and An Lam are retained from the earlier collection and need current kitchen confirmation. None is presented as a fully vegan resort.
Which resort has an explicit plant-based operator statement?
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Its destination-dining page includes entirely plant-based farm-to-table cuisine. Confirm the particular experience and discuss the other daily meals separately. [N1]
Why are Alma and An Lam still included?
Both appeared in our original Vietnam overview and fit this region. The new profiles preserve that continuity while clearly separating the older vegan-friendly descriptions from the current details that were actually verified.
Does An Lam's all-inclusive offer guarantee vegan meals?
No. The operator specifies three daily meals at Sen, but the offer itself does not establish their vegan preparation. Ask for a complete vegan menu and written confirmation for your selected rate. [N6]
Is Six Senses Ninh Van Bay the same as Six Senses Con Dao?
No. They are different properties and destinations. Con Dao remains in our earlier Vietnam collection but is not one of the three resorts in this Nha Trang and Cam Ranh comparison.
Do the title image and booking buttons verify the resort?
No. The image shows Nha Trang scenery, not one of these hotels. Booking buttons open hotel-name searches. Check the full property name, location, room and meal agreement before completing a reservation.
