Greece regional hotel guide · reviewed 10 September 2026
Searching for vegan hotels in Rhodes? This island guide starts with two properties that put plant-based hospitality at the centre of the stay, then adds a conventional adults-only hotel with documented vegan dining. Compare GOJI Vegan Hotel in Ialysos, Açai Plant-Based Hotel in Rhodes Town and Cook’s Club Ialysos. GOJI and its original hotel photographs are retained from our earlier Greece collection; the other two stays add different ways to plan an island holiday.
Where should a vegan traveller stay on Rhodes?
GOJI is the starting point for a smaller vegan stay with home-style Greek meals. Açai combines a Rhodes Town address with a plant-based restaurant and a clearly described half-board option. Cook’s Club Ialysos is the mixed-diet alternative for an adults-only, social hotel holiday. Choose the location and service style as well as the food. [R1] [R2] [R3] [R4]

Quick comparison: three stays
Rhodes Town or the Ialysos area?
Ialysos: GOJI’s smaller-hotel approach
GOJI publishes its address on Mikinon in Ialysos. It is a different base from staying in Rhodes Town. The appeal in this comparison is to return to a small vegan hotel after a day out, with breakfast, snacks and dinner described by the operator. [R1] [R5]
Rhodes Town: Açai’s urban alternative
Açai lists Papalouka 7 in Rhodes Town. Choose this option when a town stay and a named plant-based restaurant matter more than a large resort complex. Check the actual suite category and your arrival arrangements rather than treating every Rhodes accommodation listing as the same location. [R2] [R6]
Cook’s Club Ialysos: a social, pool-focused stay
The hotel is marketed as adults-only, with shared spaces and a sociable pool atmosphere. It is not presented here as a hotel inside the medieval old town or directly on the beach. Map your chosen outings from its exact address, and keep it distinct from the brand’s separate Kolymbia property. [R7]
Three vegan and vegan-friendly stays to compare
Stay 01 · Original hotel and authorised photographs
GOJI Vegan Hotel
Location: Mikinon, Ialysos, Rhodes
Best fit: A small vegan hotel with Greek home-style cooking

GOJI offers a food concept that goes beyond a vegan option on a mixed menu. The operator describes plant-based breakfasts, daytime snacks and a changing home-cooked vegan dinner. Breakfast examples include overnight oats, savoury platters, homemade spreads and a choice of plant milks. For dinner, the kitchen gives Greek examples such as giant beans with vegan feta and rice-stuffed vegetables. [R1]
This is the property carried forward from our original country article. The two photographs are the existing GOJI pool and studio images, reused with permission. They show the named hotel, not generic Rhodes scenery. The room photograph is an example from our archive rather than a promise that every bookable category looks identical.
The hotel’s own accommodation pages describe studio-style stays and its pool setting. Compare the specific unit with the needs of your party, then decide whether you want breakfast only or a wider meal arrangement. A vegan kitchen removes many ingredient questions, but meal times, portions and package inclusion still deserve a clear answer. [R5]
Our editorial reason to shortlist GOJI is straightforward: it combines a vegan food identity with a smaller-hotel format. It can suit travellers who prefer returning to familiar hosts and a home-style dinner rather than navigating several resort restaurants. Ask about current service days and how dinner fits the rate before reserving.

Stay 02 · Vegan restaurant and defined half board
Açai Plant-Based Hotel
Location: Papalouka 7, Rhodes Town
Best fit: A town stay with plant-based restaurant dining
Açai offers the city-based alternative in this shortlist. Its official restaurant page describes an exclusively plant-based kitchen, while the hotel FAQ explains the guest meal arrangements. Breakfast is table-served rather than a buffet; the dinner component of half board is an à la carte meal. [R2] [R3]
The half-board description specifies a salad or starter, a main course and a dessert, with beverages excluded. Brunch is a separate purchase and cannot simply replace breakfast or dinner under that arrangement. These are useful distinctions when comparing the cost of a room plus meals. [R2]
The hotel publishes several suite categories. Treat the selected category as part of the decision: a photograph of a private-pool suite does not describe every room. The Papalouka address also makes this a different trip from a resort stay elsewhere on the island. [R6]
For a food-led town break, our suggestion is to build your plans around the meals you will actually use. A half-board evening can provide a dependable return point; breakfast only leaves more freedom for dinner out. Confirm the selected rate and service dates, and tell the hotel about an early departure when planning the morning meal.
Stay 03 · Vegan-friendly Cantina dining
Cook’s Club Ialysos
Location: Ialysos area, Rhodes
Best fit: Adults who prefer a social hotel with mixed-menu choices
Cook’s Club is the contrasting option, not a third entirely vegan hotel. Its Ialysos restaurant page explicitly identifies vegan dishes at Cantina, including vegan bowls, within a daily-changing à la carte offer. The breakfast description also lists conventional cheese, making the mixed-diet nature of the hotel clear. [R4]
Ask which vegan breakfast items are available and whether the evening dishes you want will be on the menu during your stay. A bed-and-breakfast rate does not mean dinner is included. This arrangement can suit a mixed-diet group of adults who want suitable choices without selecting a wholly plant-based property.
The hotel presents itself around sociable shared spaces, pool time and an adults-only atmosphere. Accommodation categories include conventional rooms and suites with different pool or terrace arrangements. Choose the category explicitly, particularly when a private pool is central to your expectations. [R7]
For the regional comparison, Cook’s Club broadens the style of stay rather than providing evidence for the entire island. Keep the Ialysos property separate from Cook’s Club Kolymbia, and check the route to your planned beach or town visits. A suitable menu is most useful when the hotel’s location and atmosphere also match the holiday.
Choose the meal plan, not just the hotel label
Compare what is included
Compare GOJI’s current meal arrangement with Açai’s defined half board and Cook’s Club’s mixed à la carte service. At a fully plant-based property, your key questions can shift from ingredient substitutions to meal times, variety and inclusions. At a mixed-diet hotel, ask for the actual vegan dishes as well.
A message for the hotel
Send your dates and the room or package you are considering, then ask for a specific reply.
We eat vegan. Could you confirm breakfast and dinner for our dates, including the dishes, serving times and what our room rate covers? Please explain drinks, brunch and any additional charges. We would also like the exact address and room category confirmed.
Build a Rhodes holiday around one workable base
For a shorter trip, choose between a town-oriented stay and the Ialysos area before making a long list of outings. A useful approach is to keep one relaxed day near the hotel and group more distant plans into separate days. This guide does not verify bus schedules, ferry sailings or excursion availability.
For a longer holiday, think about how often you will return for dinner. A plant-based half-board arrangement may be reassuring, but only when its timing fits the way you travel. Keep a meal option for days away and check whether the property can help with an early departure. Do not assume a service is included until it is confirmed.
Vegan hotel questions, answered
Which of these stays have a vegan hotel concept?
GOJI identifies itself as a vegan hotel and Açai as a plant-based hotel with an exclusively plant-based restaurant. Cook’s Club is a conventional hotel offering vegan dishes within a mixed menu. [R1] [R3] [R4]
Which property comes from the original Greece article?
GOJI Vegan Hotel. Its pool and studio photographs are also retained from the existing, authorised hotel-image collection.
Is Açai in the same place as GOJI?
No. Açai lists Papalouka 7 in Rhodes Town; GOJI lists Mikinon in Ialysos. Choose the accommodation address that fits your plans. [R2] [R1]
Can I swap Açai half-board dinner for brunch?
The hotel FAQ says half board covers breakfast and dinner, with brunch purchased separately. It also excludes beverages from the stated dinner arrangement. [R2]
Is Cook’s Club Ialysos completely vegan?
No. Cantina publishes vegan choices, but its wider menu and the hotel’s breakfast serve mixed diets. Confirm the vegan breakfast and any dinner charges separately. [R4]
Do the GOJI photographs show every room category?
No. They are existing photographs of the hotel and a studio example. Read the exact room description and request category-specific details before booking.
