Egypt Red Sea hotel guide · checked 11 September 2026

Looking for vegan hotels in Hurghada? This guide compares JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach with three properties from our original Egypt collection: Three Corners Ocean View, Iberotel Makadi Beach and Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay. It covers the wider holiday region, with El Gouna and the southern resort bays clearly distinguished from Hurghada itself.

Which hotel has the clearest plant-based food evidence?

Start with JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach. Its Aqua menu publishes a separate plant-based selection and explicitly vegan desserts. The other three hotels remain relevant leads from our earlier collection, but their current vegan meal arrangements were not independently confirmed in this research. They are not presented as equally verified recommendations. [H1] [H7]

Read the distinction: a published plant-based restaurant menu is not a fully vegan hotel or an included daily meal plan. The three archived entries below require a fresh kitchen reply before you rely on their earlier vegan-friendly descriptions.

Booking.com buttons are affiliate links. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. Buttons labelled “Search” open hotel-name results, not verified room offers or agreed vegan packages.

Four stays, different locations and evidence

Choose the part of the coast that fits your holiday

Hurghada and El Gouna are different bases

Casa Del Mar Beach identifies its setting on Hurghada's promenade. Ocean View is at Abu Tig Marina in El Gouna, so it should not be booked as a downtown Hurghada hotel. Compare the address with the evenings and outings you actually have in mind. [H2] [H3]

Makadi and Soma Bay: a resort-centred comparison

Iberotel appears in our earlier coverage as a Madinat Makadi beach resort; Sentido's operator identifies its Soma Bay location. These are separate destinations within this broader holiday-region guide, not neighbouring properties on one city beach. Confirm arrival arrangements from the full address rather than a generic Hurghada search result. [H6] [H7]

Hotels to compare for a vegan stay in the Hurghada region

Stay 01 · Published plant-based restaurant menu

JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach

Location: Hurghada promenade
Food starting point: Aqua's separate plant-based selection

Aqua's menu includes vegetable-and-lentil curry and a mushroom risotto made with vegetable broth in its plant-based section. The dessert selection explicitly labels both a strawberry chia pudding and an avocado chocolate mousse as vegan. The wider menu remains mixed, including dishes made with butter and cheese. [H1]

This is useful evidence for an actual restaurant meal, not just a general promise about dietary preferences. Ask whether the selection is available during your stay and whether the restaurant visit is included in the rate you are considering. A suitable dinner does not confirm a vegan breakfast.

For a longer holiday, ask the team to describe breakfast, lunch and the evenings when you will not eat at Aqua. Request plant milk and a substantial savoury breakfast rather than assuming the restaurant's dessert ingredients are also available at the buffet. Compare the resulting meal arrangement with how often you expect to eat away from the hotel.

Evidence: property-specific published plant-based menu, with vegan-labelled desserts. Restaurant access, breakfast and package inclusions must be confirmed separately.

Stay 02 · Original collection · confirmation required

Three Corners Ocean View, El Gouna

Location: Abu Tig Marina, El Gouna
Stay format: adults-only, marina-based hotel

Ocean View is retained from our original Egypt article. The current operator pages confirm its adults-only marina setting and identify Oceana as the buffet restaurant. They do not, in the material checked, provide a property-specific vegan daily menu. The brand's broader FAQ says dietary provision depends on the property; that is not a confirmation for Ocean View. [H3] [H4] [H5]

Use the earlier vegan-friendly listing as a reason to enquire, not as a guarantee that every buffet has clearly labelled suitable mains. Ask which breakfast dishes, hot meals and snacks can be prepared without animal ingredients, and how the kitchen identifies them.

This is an alternative for adults considering El Gouna rather than a larger family resort elsewhere on the coast. Compare the food agreement with your preferred room category and the time you plan to spend outside the property.

Evidence: earlier editorial listing; current location and restaurant identity checked. Vegan meals still need a fresh property-specific confirmation.

Stay 03 · Original collection · confirmation required

Iberotel Makadi Beach

Location: Madinat Makadi, Makadi Bay
Food starting point: the vegan-friendly description in our older collection

Our existing hotel portrait describes Iberotel Makadi Beach as a beach resort with an all-inclusive offer and vegan options. We have preserved that relevant entry, but did not establish a fresh operator statement specifying its current vegan breakfast or daily menu. The date on this new guide does not turn the older description into a new kitchen confirmation. [H7]

Before comparing rates, ask for a sample day of meals. Identify a substantial breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus suitable food between services. Ask about cooking fats, vegetable stock, sauces and desserts, rather than accepting a list of restaurant names as evidence.

For a family booking, request meals for the children as well as the adults. Keep the reservation flexible until the answer explains what can actually be provided. This profile retains a useful Makadi lead without repeating undated facility or dietary claims as newly verified facts.

Evidence: earlier Vegan Lifestyle coverage only for vegan suitability. Current meal preparation and all-inclusive access need confirmation.

Stay 04 · Original collection · confirmation required

Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay

Location: Soma Bay holiday area
Stay format: family-oriented beach resort

Sentido's current description confirms a family beach-resort format and a main buffet restaurant called Caribbean. Its listed all-inclusive arrangement includes one à la carte visit per stay. That limit is worth checking against your selected rate; it should not be read as unlimited speciality-restaurant dinners. [H6]

The property also appears in our older Egypt collection as vegan-friendly. However, the current operator material checked did not establish an explicit vegan menu. A large buffet and several restaurants do not resolve that gap.

Ask for suitable choices at each daily service and for the other evenings beyond the speciality visit. Request a reply covering breakfast, mains, snacks and any children's meals. Compare the complete food arrangement with the room and cancellation conditions, rather than relying on the older summary alone.

Evidence: earlier vegan-friendly listing; current resort and package details checked separately. Vegan provision remains to be confirmed.

What vegan all-inclusive needs to mean for your stay

Meals, not just the package name

Make a simple plan for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Mark which meals are included, which need reservations and which incur supplements. For a week on site, variety matters more than the number of dining venues.

For days out, ask about early breakfast or food to take with you; do not assume either service is available. A meal plan is useful only when its timing matches your holiday.

A message for the kitchen

We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, ghee, eggs or honey. Please describe a full day's meals for our dates. Which are included in our rate, which require reservations, and are there visit limits or supplements? Please also confirm sauces, cooking fats and suitable snacks.

Hurghada vegan hotel FAQs

Are these four hotels fully vegan?

No. Casa Del Mar Beach publishes a plant-based restaurant selection within mixed dining. The other three are earlier vegan-friendly listings that need current confirmation. No whole-property vegan status is claimed.

Which hotel has a published plant-based menu?

JAZ Casa Del Mar Beach has one at Aqua, including vegan-labelled desserts. Confirm the restaurant arrangement for your dates and ask about the other meals separately. [H1]

Are all four hotels in Hurghada city?

No. The guide also covers El Gouna, Makadi Bay and the Soma Bay area. Use the exact address for transfers and outings, rather than treating the wider destination label as a city-centre location.

Which hotels come from the previous Egypt article?

Iberotel Makadi Beach, Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay and Three Corners Ocean View. Their portraits remain linked, with the age and limits of the food evidence explained here.

Does all-inclusive guarantee vegan meals throughout the day?

No. Establish the actual dishes, ingredients and service times. Also check whether speciality restaurants, snacks and additional visits are included in the rate you select.

Is Ocean View suitable for a family booking with children?

The operator markets Ocean View as adults-only. Check the hotel's current admission conditions; do not treat it as a family alternative simply because other properties in this guide cater to families. [H3]
