Your Colombia accommodation hub
Choose your setting.
Find your kind of stay.
A Bogotá boutique bed-and-breakfast, a Barú coastal resort and a mountain lodge in Minca offer very different holidays. This hub connects our five Colombia guides so you can compare the location, accommodation format and food evidence together.
These are not fifteen fully vegan hotels. The collection includes plant-forward restaurant concepts, vegan dishes or adaptations in conventional hotels, and platform-listed breakfast or dining options. Each profile explains what is documented and what still needs an answer from the property.
The offer behind the label
A plant-based concept,
a vegan dish or an advance request?
Read the scope of the concept
Casa Lėlytė describes a plant-based restaurant; Lumbre publishes a partly plant-based menu with vegan choices. SelvaMinca describes vegetarian meals. None of these statements establishes that every breakfast, ingredient or hotel service is vegan. [H1] [H4] [H5]
Name the meal and the venue
Binn's La Makha offers vegan adaptations on request. Santa Clara and Las Islas publish vegan dining offers, while Bio Habitat identifies suitable lunch and dinner options at Basto. Confirm the actual courses and ask about breakfast separately. [H2] [H3] [H5]
A useful lead, not a meal agreement
Several properties are included because Booking.com lists vegan breakfast or restaurant options. Those categories do not describe a complete meal for your dates. The amber labels identify profiles where the specific vegan evidence comes from platform information.
Two useful food-led starting points
Casa Lėlytė in the city. Lumbre in coffee country.
Both have explicit operator food statements in our local research, but their offers are not identical. At Casa Lėlytė, agree resident breakfast separately from the restaurant concept. At Lumbre, ask which vegan dishes are available within its mixed menu. Compare the accommodation and setting as carefully as the food. [H1] [H5]
Begin with the city
Bogotá and Medellín
Six places to stay across two city guides. Bogotá compares Chapinero Alto with the Corferias area; the Medellín shortlist focuses on three different El Poblado addresses.

Caribbean escapes,
mountain lodges and coffee country
Three regional guides add nine more stays. The collections describe selected travel areas, not three interchangeable hotel districts or a complete directory of every nearby destination.

Cartagena and Barú
Santa Clara in the city, or Las Islas and Sofitel Barú / Calablanca on the coast. Compare an old-town hotel with two resort-style stays, rather than assuming every Cartagena-branded property is central.

Tayrona and Minca
YAY in Guachaca, Senda Watapuy in El Zaino and SelvaMinca in the mountains. Choose river scenery, a Tayrona-area base or distinctive lodge accommodation; these are not three oceanfront resorts.

Compare the five destination guides
Each guide contains three distinct properties. These are editorial collections, not a ranking by hotel price, visitor numbers or measured Google search volume.

The Colombia accommodation collection
15 stays, with the food
evidence beside each one.
Every property from our five guides appears once below. Follow the full profiles for the underlying research, location details and room checks. A published offer is not a personal agreement with the kitchen for your travel dates.
Affiliate disclosure: all 15 Booking.com buttons use our affiliate links to the matched property targets recorded in the local guides. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. No button guarantees availability, a price or an included vegan meal. Bogotá
Full Bogotá guide →01 · Chapinero Alto · boutique stay
Plant-based restaurant conceptCasa Lėlytė
The operator publishes a plant-based restaurant concept within a boutique bed-and-breakfast. The Bogotá guide also records guest accounts mentioning eggs alongside vegan breakfast alternatives. Agree resident breakfast separately instead of treating the whole house as exclusively vegan. Check restaurant service on your dates, then compare the exact room and access arrangements. [H1]
02 · Corferias area · city hotel
Platform breakfast and dining optionsHilton Bogota Corferias
The city guide records vegan breakfast and restaurant options at OKA Grill House and Bon Market and Bar on Booking.com. The operator confirms conventional dining venues rather than a detailed vegan menu. Request the actual breakfast and main course at the venue you will use, and check their inclusion in the selected room rate. [H1]
03 · Corferias area · city hotel
Platform-listed vegan breakfastHyatt Place Bogota Convention Center
Booking.com's vegan breakfast category is the specific food evidence in the city guide. Hyatt describes a mixed Breakfast Bar, not an entirely vegan buffet. Ask for a filling breakfast and the notice needed, then enquire separately about dinner. Compare this with Hilton as another Corferias-area base, not a different sightseeing neighbourhood. [H1]
Medellín
Full Medellín guide →04 · El Poblado · La Makha
Vegan adaptations on advance requestBinn Hotel
The operator offer recorded in the Medellín guide includes adapting La Makha's tasting menu for vegan guests with advance notice. Some standard preparations contain goat yogurt or tuna, so the agreed substitutions matter. Ask for the complete adapted sequence and current lead time; reserve the restaurant separately and make breakfast its own enquiry. [H2]
05 · El Poblado · Calle 2 Sur
Platform-listed vegan breakfastWake BioHotel
The city guide records vegan breakfast on the matched Wake BioHotel listing. The official brand description establishes the hotel and Silo restaurant, not an itemised vegan menu. Ask for the morning meal and suitable mains separately. Check that the address and room product belong to Wake BioHotel rather than another Wake-branded accommodation. [H2]
06 · El Poblado · Carrera 31A
Platform-listed restaurant optionsCafé Hotel Medellín
Booking.com lists vegan options at the venue it calls Coffe Club; the operator uses Cofy Club. The guide treats this as a restaurant enquiry at the same hotel, not two separate vegan venues. Request a substantial main and its ingredients, then ask about breakfast independently. The restaurant category does not certify the morning buffet. [H2]
Cartagena and Barú
Full Cartagena and Barú guide →07 · San Diego · Cartagena
Operator-published vegan diningSofitel Legend Santa Clara
Santa Clara explicitly mentions vegan restaurant options in the operator material recorded by our regional guide. Jardín serves different meals, but the general statement does not describe the breakfast included in your rate. Ask which dishes and venue apply to your stay. This is the city hotel in the selection, not the Barú coastal property. [H3]
08 · Barú · coastal bungalows
Vegan menu published by the hotelHotel Las Islas
The operator's gastronomy feature describes a vegan menu alongside conventional dining. Confirm which restaurant serves it and whether breakfast, dinner and bungalow room service can use the same choices. For several nights, request more than one substantial main. Assess the bungalow category and arrival arrangements separately from the food offer. [H3]
09 · Barú · Calablanca property
Platform-listed vegan breakfastSofitel Barú Cartagena / Calablanca
The regional guide records vegan breakfast on the Calablanca Booking.com listing. The operator's ordinary breakfast description is mixed and does not supply an itemised vegan meal. Agree the morning dishes and ask about other restaurant services separately. Check the Barú address: this is not Sofitel Legend Santa Clara in Cartagena's old town. [H3]
Tayrona, Guachaca and Minca
Full Tayrona and Minca guide →10 · Guachaca · riverside stay
Platform-listed vegan food optionsYAY Sustainable
The regional research records vegan breakfast and restaurant options on Booking.com. The operator's seasonal food description includes honey, so the property is not presented as exclusively vegan. Its private beach is on the Guachaca River, not the sea. Agree your meals and the final approach with luggage before choosing the cabin or suite. [H4]
11 · El Zaino · Tayrona area
Platform-listed restaurant optionsSenda Watapuy Boutique Hotel Tayrona
Booking.com lists vegan options at the matched Watapuy restaurant in our regional research. A detailed operator vegan menu was not established. Ask for complete mains and breakfast separately, then verify the features of your actual room or bungalow. The Tayrona name does not include park admission or establish that your accommodation is inside the park. [H4]
12 · Minca · mountain lodge
Vegetarian concept; vegan breakfast listedSelvaMinca
The operator describes vegetarian meals and distinctive towers, cabins and tree-house accommodation. The explicit vegan breakfast category comes from Booking.com in our regional guide. Ask for the dishes without dairy, eggs or honey, and enquire about other meals. Check stairs, luggage access and how enclosed your selected sleeping area is; this is a mountain stay, not a beach resort. [H4]
Colombia's Coffee Region
Full Coffee Region guide →13 · Salento · Cocora Valley road
Plant-forward menu with vegan choicesLumbre Forest Lodge
Lumbre's operator page in the local research explicitly offers vegan options and describes a 70% plant-based menu. That does not make every dish vegan. Booking.com separately lists vegan breakfast. Ask for complete meals across your stay and check the room format; the matched booking URL retains the older lumbre-glamorous-camping wording. [H5]
14 · Armenia–Circasia route
Published vegan lunch and dinner optionsBio Habitat Hotel, AKEN SOUL Collection
The official brand material recorded in the guide identifies vegan lunch and dinner options at Basto Resto Bar. Vegan breakfast is a separate Booking.com category, not an itemised operator breakfast promise. Discuss each service and choose your room carefully: private outdoor pools belong to selected categories, not every reservation. [H5]
15 · Salento–Cocora area · reserve stay
Platform-listed vegan breakfastSazagua Cocora Reserve
The regional guide records vegan breakfast at the matched Cocora reserve listing. The operator supports its identity and setting, not an entirely vegan menu. Check breakfast and substantial mains before selecting a meal package. Choose the Cocora property deliberately: the separate Sazagua hotel associated with Pereira is not the accommodation linked here. [H5]
Build your own Colombia journey
Choose fewer bases.
Agree the meals that matter.
These are editorial planning suggestions, not packaged itineraries or verified transfer schedules. Use the five guides as building blocks rather than trying to visit every featured hotel in one short trip.
City time and coffee country
Choose Bogotá or Medellín around your planned city days, then compare one countryside base. Establish the journey before locking in the rooms. Decide which meals you will eat at the hotel and which will be supplied during outings; one hotel's agreement does not cover another provider.
Old town or coastal resort?
Compare Santa Clara for the Cartagena portion of a trip and the Barú hotels for time at a coastal property. A split stay is an option, not a requirement. Keep the transfers, room category and meal package alongside each other when comparing the total.
A nature-focused stay
Choose Guachaca, El Zaino or Minca for the setting you will actually use. Ask about the final approach, luggage and food for early departures. Check park access and activities independently rather than treating a hotel reservation as an admission ticket.
Request a complete meal
Ask for a filling breakfast and substantial main courses without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, eggs or honey. Include bread, sauces, cooking fats and garnishes in the question. At a restaurant offering adaptations, request the adapted dish description.
Keep the inclusions in writing
Record the serving venue, timing, notice required, supplements and room category. A breakfast label is not a full-board menu. Compare flexible booking conditions while essential details remain unresolved, and arrange excursions and optional activities separately.
We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, eggs or honey. Please describe a complete breakfast and two suitable main courses for our dates. Which venue serves them, what does our selected rate include, and are advance notice or substitutions required? Please also confirm food arrangements for an early departure.
Useful answers
Vegan hotels in Colombia: FAQ
Are all 15 properties entirely vegan?
No. This collection documents vegan-friendly food offers with different evidence levels. It does not certify whole kitchens, room materials, toiletries or every service. Read the label and limitations beside each property, then use the full destination guide for detail.
Where can I find a plant-forward restaurant concept?
Casa Lėlytė publishes a plant-based restaurant concept, and Lumbre describes a partly plant-based menu with vegan choices. Their breakfast services and meal inclusions still need separate agreement. SelvaMinca describes vegetarian meals, which is a different claim. [H1] [H4] [H5]
Can Binn arrange a vegan tasting menu?
The operator offer in our Medellín research includes advance vegan adaptations at La Makha. Ask for the current courses and lead time. Standard preparations containing dairy or fish must not be mistaken for the agreed vegan versions. [H2]
Are Santa Clara and Calablanca the same Sofitel hotel?
No. Santa Clara is the San Diego hotel in Cartagena; Calablanca is the Barú coastal property. The guide and booking buttons identify them separately so readers do not confuse a city stay with a coastal resort. [H3]
Is YAY Sustainable an oceanfront vegan resort?
The operator describes a private beach on the Guachaca River, not the sea. The available food material supports vegan options within mixed dining, not an exclusively vegan kitchen. SelvaMinca is a separate mountain stay. [H4]
Does Booking.com's vegan breakfast category guarantee all meals?
No. It is a useful screening signal rather than an itemised meal agreement. Breakfast, restaurant dinner, room service and included board packages can have different arrangements. Ask the property for the actual dishes and the terms of your chosen rate.
Why do all the booking buttons use Booking.com?
Our five local guides recorded matching property listings for all 15 stays. The hub reuses those targets with our affiliate format rather than adding duplicate hotel-direct booking buttons. The links do not guarantee live availability, checkout completion or commission attribution.
Do the images show the featured hotels?
No. The hero and Bogotá card use destination illustrations supplied for Vegan Lifestyle. The Cartagena card shows Bocagrande, and the Tayrona card shows Cabo San Juan inside the park. The Medellín photograph is city-centre scenery, not an El Poblado hotel view; the Coffee Region card shows Cocora Valley. No image promises a room view or current facility condition.
