This collection brings together our five published Argentina guides. Compare a Palermo guesthouse, a Córdoba heritage hotel, a Patagonian inn or a vineyard lodge, then follow the detailed profiles for food evidence and booking checks.
These are not fifteen fully vegan hotels. Casa Caravan has a plant-based accommodation concept. Elsewhere, the evidence ranges from named vegan dishes to breakfast categories on Booking.com and older directory information. Each profile explains the difference.
The offer behind the label
Plant-based hospitality
is not one single promise.
Start with Casa Caravan
The Buenos Aires guide records the operator's plant-based breakfast offer in a guesthouse with private and shared rooms. It is a different product from a conventional hotel with one suitable dish, but not our certification of every material or service. [A1]
Identify the venue and meal
Palacio Duhau, Azur, Awasi Mendoza and Loi Suites have specific operator or menu evidence in the local guides. A restaurant offer does not automatically cover breakfast, every menu item or your room-rate inclusions. [A1] [A2] [A4] [A5]
Read beyond a dietary category
Several entries rely on platform-listed breakfast or restaurant options. Patagonia Jazz's explicit vegan breakfast information is older. Gran Meliá has limited menu evidence and a service caveat. Their limitations remain visible in this hub. [A3] [A5]
A useful starting point in Buenos Aires
Casa Caravan: choose the room as carefully as the breakfast.
A plant-based breakfast is part of the guesthouse's published concept. Private rooms and beds in shared accommodation are different booking products; check which one your selected rate actually buys. Other meals and activities need their own arrangements. [A1]

Three regional comparisons add nine more places to stay. They cover selected bases, not every town in each region, and are not a ready-made short itinerary.

Compare the five destinations
Each guide contains three distinct properties. The comparison summarises our selected collection; it is not an exhaustive directory or a measured Google search-volume ranking.

Every property from the five guides appears once below. Follow each full profile for the original research notes, room-format details and limitations. None of the summaries is a personal kitchen agreement for your travel dates.
Affiliate disclosure: the 14 Booking.com buttons use our affiliate links to the individual property targets recorded in the local guides. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you. Awasi Mendoza retains a direct operator link because the regional research did not establish a confidently matched Booking.com target. This does not prove that Awasi is absent from Booking.com. Prices, availability, meal inclusions and affiliate attribution for a particular reservation are not guaranteed.
Buenos Aires
Full Buenos Aires guide →01 · Palermo · guesthouse
Plant-based breakfast conceptCasa Caravan
The operator's room information includes plant-based breakfast and distinguishes private rooms from beds in shared accommodation. This is the collection's clearest accommodation-led plant-based starting point. Confirm which room product you are buying, then ask separately about other meals, kitchen use and activities. The concept does not certify every furnishing or toiletry. [A1]
02 · Recoleta · city hotel
Explicit vegan menu choicesPalacio Duhau – Park Hyatt
Gioia Cocina Botánica's menu in the local research separates vegan and vegetarian dishes. Some vegetarian choices contain dairy or eggs, so its botanical identity is not a promise that everything is vegan. Breakfast is a separate hotel service: agree the venue, substantial dishes and rate inclusions before relying on a meal package. [A1]
03 · Palermo Hollywood
Platform-listed vegan breakfastHome Hotel Buenos Aires
Booking.com's breakfast categories include vegan in the city-guide research, but a detailed operator vegan breakfast was not established. Request the actual meal rather than assuming the brunch menu is suitable throughout. The official room description also mentions llama-wool blankets: ask about alternatives when animal-derived room materials matter to your stay. [A1]
Córdoba, Argentina
Full Córdoba guide →04 · Historic centre · hotel & spa
Operator-described vegan lunchAzur Hotel & Spa
La Despensa's official dining description in the city guide expressly includes vegan lunch choices. Breakfast and the changing evening menu are separate services, not covered automatically by that statement. Consider Azur for its central hotel-and-spa format, then check meal arrangements, spa access and any extra charges under your exact booking. [A2]
05 · Duarte Quirós · heritage hotel
Platform-listed vegan breakfastVirreinato Hotel Boutique
The city guide records vegan breakfast on the matching Booking.com listing. The operator supports the heritage hotel identity and breakfast setting, rather than supplying a detailed vegan menu. Ask for a filling breakfast and confirm any notice period. Plan other meals independently and explain access needs before choosing a room in the historic building. [A2]
06 · Avenida Fernando Fader
Restaurant options on requestÑU Posta Urbana
Booking.com's restaurant information in the local research includes vegan options and request-based dietary alternatives. A detailed operator vegan menu was not established. Ask for a substantial main course, its ingredients and the notice needed; breakfast remains a separate enquiry. Its Fernando Fader address is not the same central base as Azur or Virreinato. [A2]
Argentine Patagonia
Full Patagonia guide →07 · Central Bariloche · hotel
Platform-listed vegan breakfastNH Bariloche Edelweiss
The regional guide records a vegan breakfast category on Booking.com and additional community-described restaurant choices. The operator's general breakfast buffet description is not a complete vegan menu. Compare NH for a conventional hotel stay in Bariloche, then arrange your actual breakfast and any early-departure food before an outing. [A3]
08 · Juramento 94 · Bariloche hostel
Older vegan-breakfast evidencePatagonia Jazz Hostel
HappyCow's explicit vegan breakfast description is older: the local research records a December 2018 information update and reviews including one from 2022. Non-vegan food may be brought into shared spaces. Reconfirm the current breakfast before relying on it, and check whether the booking buys a bed or a private room. This is not a full-service vegan hotel. [A3]
09 · El Calafate · inn
Platform-listed vegan breakfastHostería La Estepa
The regional guide records vegan breakfast on the matched Booking.com listing, without establishing an itemised operator vegan menu. La Estepa belongs to the El Calafate part of your trip, not Bariloche. Discuss excursion pick-up points, early breakfast and dinner separately. The glacier photograph on this page is destination scenery, not an inn-room view. [A3]
Mendoza & wine country
Full Mendoza guide →10 · Agrelo · Luján de Cuyo
Operator-described vegan diningAwasi Mendoza
The regional research records vegan restaurant options in Awasi's vineyard-lodge concept. It is not a wholly vegan property. Ask for the breakfast, dinner and excursions included in the proposed stay, including what happens to meals during days away. A direct operator link is retained because the guide did not establish a confidently matched Booking.com target. [A4]
11 · Tupungato · Uco Valley
Platform-listed vegan breakfastAuberge du Vin
Booking.com's vegan breakfast category is the food evidence recorded in the regional guide; Marriott's material establishes the vineyard setting and Epic restaurant identity. They are different claims. Confirm the breakfast dishes and enquire separately about a complete vegan dinner. This is a Uco Valley base, not a hotel in Mendoza city. [A4]
12 · Mendoza city · urban hotel
Platform-listed vegan breakfastNH Mendoza Cordillera
The local guide records vegan among Booking.com's breakfast categories. A detailed operator vegan menu was not established. Compare this urban base with the two wine-country stays, then request a specific breakfast proposal and check early starts. Winery meals, tastings and transfers are separate arrangements, not implied by a hotel reservation. [A4]
Iguazú & Misiones
Full Iguazú guide →13 · Iryapú rainforest · Misiones
Published vegan restaurant optionsLoi Suites Iguazú
Naipi's operator description in the local research includes vegan options within a mixed restaurant offer. The guide also records a vegan breakfast category on Booking.com. Agree these two services separately, including their venue and inclusion in your rate. A rainforest location is not a promise that waterfall paths begin at the hotel. [A5]
14 · Argentine national park
Limited menu evidence · meal caveatGran Meliá Iguazú
The guide records a vegan-labelled vegetable dish and platform-listed vegan breakfast, not a complete vegan board package. It also discusses one June 2026 guest account of meal-coordination problems and later staff assistance. Read that context before buying half-board, then request substantial vegan courses and the exact package rules. One review does not describe every guest's experience. [A5]
15 · Puerto Iguazú area · lodge
Platform-listed vegan breakfastMiraselva Lodge
The matched Booking.com information in the regional guide includes vegan breakfast. It does not establish an all-day vegan restaurant or a personally agreed meal package. Ask what breakfast contains, how much notice is needed and whether it is included. Plan dinner and transport separately, using the property's exact address rather than the destination photograph. [A5]
Build your own Argentina journey
Choose fewer bases.
Agree the meals that matter.
These are editorial planning suggestions, not packaged tours or verified transport schedules. The five guides are alternatives and building blocks; they are not five nearby places to visit from one hotel.
City time, then another landscape
Choose Buenos Aires or Córdoba around the days you want to spend there, then add the region that matters most to your trip. Settle transport between bases before locking in restrictive accommodation rates. A dependable first breakfast makes arrival planning simpler.
A Patagonia-focused stay
Decide whether your trip centres on Bariloche, El Calafate or both. They are separate stops. Arrange food for early departures and check excursion pick-up points independently. Do not make every day depend on a hotel buffet whose vegan contents remain unclear.
Wine country or waterfalls
For Mendoza, choose city or vineyard accommodation and coordinate meals with outings. For Iguazú, choose the actual setting and agree substantial hotel meals. A room reservation does not itself cover tasting appointments, park admission or excursions.
Ask for a complete meal
Request a filling breakfast and the main meals you intend to eat on site. Specify no meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, eggs or honey. Ask about sauces, cooking fats, bread and garnishes, not only the most obvious ingredients.
Keep inclusions in writing
Record the venue, serving times, advance notice, supplements and room category. Ask about suitable packed food for an early departure. For wine-related experiences, ask the provider about the specific products separately; hotel meal suitability does not answer that question.
We eat vegan, without meat, fish, seafood, animal stock, dairy, butter, eggs or honey. Please describe a complete breakfast and suitable main meals for our dates. Which venue serves them, what does our selected room rate include, and are advance notice, reservations or supplements required? Please also confirm arrangements for an early departure.
Useful answers
Vegan hotels in Argentina: FAQ
Are all 15 properties entirely vegan?
No. Casa Caravan has a plant-based accommodation concept, while the other entries have different levels of food evidence. This hub does not certify entire kitchens, room materials, toiletries or every service. The individual labels describe the narrower offer documented in our guides.
Where should I start for a plant-based breakfast concept?
Casa Caravan in Buenos Aires explicitly includes plant-based breakfast in its operator description recorded by the city guide. Compare private rooms with beds in shared accommodation, then confirm the exact product and other meals. Read the Casa Caravan profile →
Is Gioia at Palacio Duhau completely vegan?
The menu in our Buenos Aires research distinguishes vegan and vegetarian dishes, with dairy or eggs in some vegetarian choices. Choose from the explicitly vegan sections and agree your meal; do not treat every item or the hotel's separate breakfast as automatically vegan. [A1]
Why does Patagonia Jazz carry a caution label?
Its explicit vegan-breakfast description comes from older specialist-directory information. The regional guide records a 2018 business-information update and older reviews. Confirm that the breakfast still operates as described before relying on it. [A3]
Why is Awasi Mendoza linked directly?
The regional research identified the official property page but did not establish a confidently matched Booking.com target. The direct link avoids a guessed hotel listing. It is not a Booking.com affiliate link and does not prove that the property is unavailable on that platform.
Does a vegan breakfast category guarantee half-board?
No. Breakfast, a restaurant dinner and a half-board menu can be separate services. Ask for actual courses under your chosen rate. For Gran Meliá Iguazú, read the local guide's limited menu evidence and individual guest-service caveat before relying on an included meal package. [A5]
Do these guides include Chile or Brazil?
The 15 properties in this collection are in Argentina. The Patagonia guide does not include Chilean hotels, and the Iguazú guide does not substitute Foz do Iguaçu accommodation in Brazil. For a separate Brazilian stay, use our Brazil hotel hub.
Do the photographs show the featured hotels?
No. They show destination scenery. The hero is Buenos Aires, the Patagonia image is Perito Moreno Glacier and the Mendoza card shows Uco Valley vineyards. None is presented as a hotel-room image, current facility photograph or guaranteed view.
Research notes and selection

Our count is 15 distinct properties across five guides, not 15 independently verified vegan meal packages. This is a selected collection, not an exhaustive national directory, a popularity ranking or a claim about measured monthly Google keyword volumes. The original platform research did not verify date-specific room inventory or checkout. Menus, operating arrangements, room categories and meal inclusions may change.
