Start with the meal that matters
Where to stay vegan in Belgium?
For an entirely plant-based breakfast, begin with AM/PM or Hotel Malleberg in Bruges. For a larger city hotel, compare the breakfast arrangements in Brussels and Ghent. The regional guides open up smaller B&Bs, seaside hotels and bases for outdoor days.
This hub brings the six local guides together. It separates an accommodation’s vegan concept from a mixed hotel offering vegan breakfast, individual dishes or meals by request. Open the full profiles for the evidence and practical details.

A closer look at AM/PM in Bruges

VEGAN B&B AM/PM – Central Bruges
The stay from our earlier Belgium article remains part of this collection. AM/PM combines a renovated townhouse with private bathrooms and a fully vegan breakfast. It is a small B&B, not an all-day hotel restaurant.
Check the stairs and breakfast timing when planning your stay. For the current practical summary, use the Bruges guide; the dedicated hotel portrait is also still available. AM/PM is counted once in the 18 stays, not as an additional property.

18 stays, with the food offer explained
These short profiles bring together the six local guides. Follow each full profile for the source assessment, location notes and questions to settle before reserving. The order is not a scored ranking.
Brussels
Read the Brussels guide →01 · Rogier · Restaurant choices
Hotel Indigo Brussels – City by IHG
Consider Indigo when an on-site dinner option matters. SERRA explicitly includes vegan choices within a mixed menu, while the hotel’s breakfast listing is a separate reason to ask about the morning meal.
02 · Historic centre · Breakfast listing
NH Brussels Carrefour de l’Europe
A central option to compare for sightseeing and arrival through Brussels Central. Choose the hotel for its location, then plan lunch and dinner separately rather than assuming a full restaurant service.
03 · Botanique · Breakfast listing
nhow Brussels Bloom
An art-focused hotel for travellers who want the accommodation itself to be part of the city break. Its Botanique setting is different from staying immediately beside the Grand-Place.
Bruges
Read the Bruges guide →04 · Small vegan B&B · Plant-based breakfast
VEGAN B&B AM/PM – Central Bruges
The B&B from our original Belgium coverage offers private bathrooms and an entirely vegan breakfast. The accommodation involves stairs, so agree room access and breakfast timing before relying on an early departure.
05 · Hoogstraat · Plant-based breakfast
Boutique Hotel Malleberg
Malleberg describes a fully plant-based breakfast served in its medieval cellar. Its location beside the Burg suits old-town sightseeing. Rooms have private bathrooms, but the historic building has no lift.
06 · Spiegelrei · Breakfast listing
Martin’s Relais
A conventional hotel in historic canal houses, with different room categories and outlooks. Select the room view you want explicitly: being beside the canal does not mean every bedroom overlooks the water.
07 · Kraanlei · Breakfast choices
Hotel Harmony
An old-town base beside the Leie and the Patershol quarter. Compare room categories and views as part of the choice, and check seasonal facilities separately from the year-round location.
08 · Gent-Sint-Pieters · Vegan breakfast
Carlton Hotel Gent
A smaller station-area alternative to the historic-centre hotels. It can suit arrival and onward travel by rail; include the journey into the old town in your daily plans.
09 · Augustijnenkaai · Specific item on request
Ghent Urbanist Hotel by Harmony
A contemporary canal-house option on Augustijnenkaai. This is a different hotel from Harmony on Kraanlei, even though the booking name includes “by Harmony”. Use the correct arrival address.
Belgian Ardennes
Read the Ardennes guide →10 · Bomal near Durbuy · Breakfast listing
Cent Trente
A small B&B beside the Aisne in Bomal, near Durbuy. The roadside village setting is worth checking against your plans; it should not be mistaken for an isolated woodland retreat.
11 · La Roche-en-Ardenne · Breakfast listing
Floreal La Roche-en-Ardenne
A larger holiday-centre alternative to the small guesthouses. Check whether you are choosing a hotel room or another accommodation type, as the facilities and meal arrangements can differ.
12 · Fanzel, Érezée · Breakfast listing
B&B Madoli
A four-room guesthouse with private bathrooms, a garden beside the Aisne and walking information from the hosts. Check its age policy when travelling with children and agree any packed lunch in advance.
Belgian Coast
Read the coastal guide →13 · Ostend · Breakfast listing
Hotel Princess
A family-run Ostend hotel near the marina and a short walk from the beach. Compare room types for your group and distinguish a convenient coastal address from a guaranteed sea-view room.
14 · De Haan · Breakfast listing
Boutique Hotel Azur
A smaller coastal base on Koninklijke Baan, close to De Haan beach. Confirm facilities and food service for your dates, especially when planning a stay outside the main holiday season.
15 · Knokke-Heist · Eatery-menu evidence
Enso District Hotel
A Knokke district stay associated with WOYO Eatery, rather than a beachfront hotel. Check the correct listing: Enso District Hotel and Enso District Residences are different accommodation products.
Belgian Limburg
Read the Limburg guide →16 · Bocholt · Breakfast by request
B&B Dageraad
A small B&B in northern Belgian Limburg with three rooms and private bathrooms. Arrange breakfast when booking and discuss bicycle rental separately if cycling is part of the trip.
17 · Hasselt · Breakfast choices
HasHotel
The city-hotel option for a Hasselt stay within a wider Limburg trip. Compare travel to your countryside outings rather than treating a provincial-capital address as a national-park base.
18 · Maasmechelen · Restaurant listing
Terhills Hotel
A hotel in a former mining building beside the Terhills gateway to the Hoge Kempen area. Keep it distinct from Terhills Resort and choose the route starting point that fits your planned outing.
Before you book
Three details that make the stay work
Agree the actual meals
Ask what makes up a complete vegan breakfast, whether notice is required and which meals your rate includes. Request dinner independently. A pastry or yoghurt option is not the same as a full meal.
Match the room to your needs
Compare stairs, lifts, bathrooms, age policies and the exact room category. A canal-side address does not guarantee a canal view, and a regional hotel name does not guarantee the location you have in mind.
Check the whole route
For a car-free trip, check transport to the precise hotel address and your planned outings. In the countryside, arrange food for longer days and check evening meal options before arrival.
Useful answers
Vegan hotels in Belgium: FAQ
Are all 18 stays fully vegan?
No. AM/PM is presented as a vegan B&B, and Malleberg explicitly describes a fully plant-based breakfast. Most entries are conventional hotels or B&Bs with vegan choices, request-based meals or booking-platform food listings. Breakfast evidence is not certification of every product or material in a property.
Where can I find an entirely plant-based breakfast?
AM/PM and Boutique Hotel Malleberg in Bruges explicitly describe an entirely plant-based breakfast. Confirm the meal’s inclusion in your chosen rate, breakfast timing and any access requirements. The Bruges guide explains both stays in more detail.
Which Belgian cities and regions are covered?
The six guides cover Brussels, Bruges, Ghent, the Belgian Ardennes, the Belgian Coast and Belgian Limburg. Each guide has three distinct stays, making 18 in total. The separate AM/PM hotel portrait concerns one of those 18 properties.
Does vegan breakfast mean vegan dinner is available?
No. Breakfast categories, individual vegan dishes and restaurant dietary options cover different things. Ask for the actual meal and service on your travel dates. A hotel rate that includes breakfast does not automatically include dinner.
Is the Limburg guide about Belgium or the Netherlands?
It covers Belgian Limburg, with stays in Bocholt, Hasselt and Maasmechelen. It is not a guide to the Dutch province of Limburg. Check the exact address and your onward route before reserving.
Can I book all these stays through Booking.com?
All 18 profiles include a property-specific Booking.com affiliate button. Check dates, availability, room type, cancellation terms and meal inclusions on the booking page. A qualifying reservation may earn Vegan Lifestyle a commission at no extra cost to you.

About this collection
Hub compiled on from the six linked destination guides, whose source research was reviewed on 8 September 2026. This is a researched editorial collection, not an account of on-site hotel visits. Each full profile explains whether the food information comes from the property or a Booking.com listing.
Menus, service days, facilities and rates can change. Confirm the details important to your stay before reserving. All Booking.com buttons are affiliate links; the shortlist is not a scored ranking. Destination illustrations should not be used to infer a hotel’s appearance or room view.
