Sunrose 7's restaurant explicitly describes itself as vegan-friendly and asks guests to submit dietary requirements when reserving. That is a direct commitment to work from, rather than an assumption based on an Alpine setting or a wellness theme. The operator also applies an adults-only policy to the hotel, restaurant and garden. [1]
Our suggested fit: a couple or adult travelling party who would enjoy making a planned hotel dinner part of the holiday. Start by asking for a complete vegan breakfast and an evening menu, then compare the proposal with how many meals you expect to eat at the property.
Request the dishes, accompaniments and any dessert together. Ask which meals are included in your room rate and which require a restaurant reservation. An agreed evening meal is valuable, but should not leave the next morning unresolved.
Before booking: confirm the applicable age rule for every traveller, the current serving days and the notice the kitchen needs. The published vegan-friendly statement is not a guarantee of an exclusively vegan menu or a specific full-board package.
Dvor Tacen combines guest rooms with a café beside the Sava, near the foot of Šmarna gora. Compare it as a riverside Ljubljana-area base rather than accommodation in the pedestrian Old Town. Its operator lists several double-room categories. [2]
The café's published menu includes a Vegan Classic Burger, with a plant-based patty, vegan cheese and vegan sauce. This is specific dish-level evidence, not a blanket statement that the café is vegan. HappyCow's Slovenia accommodation directory also describes vegan breakfast on request; that directory entry is not a current kitchen agreement for your stay. [3] [4]
Our suggestion is to compare this option when you like a smaller property and are happy to plan journeys into the city. Ask what a substantial vegan breakfast would contain, where it is served and whether it is part of the room offer. Treat the café menu and breakfast as separate services.
Before booking: settle the complete morning meal rather than relying on the burger as proof. Compare the room category, your intended city journeys and the café's current service arrangements.
PiranArt is the coastal option in this shortlist. A June 2025 HappyCow guest report describes vegan meals during a multi-day stay. That is a useful experience to investigate, but the directory's vegan classification should not be extended uncritically to the current business. [5]
The current restaurant information is mixed-dining: its breakfast offer includes a vegan corner alongside eggs and other animal products. The restaurant publishes a Prešernovo nabrežje 2 address, distinct from the accommodation address in the guesthouse directory. Establish exactly where your breakfast is served and whether your room booking includes it. [6]
We would compare PiranArt for a coastal break after receiving a specific breakfast proposal. Request a savoury main, suitable bread or pastry and a plant-based drink; agree dinner independently. A restaurant partnership offer does not automatically apply to every overnight reservation.
Before booking: match the full property name and address. Ask the accommodation to confirm today's vegan offer and the dining location. This is not presented as a fully vegan hotel.
Choose Sunrose 7 when an adult hotel stay and a planned evening meal suit your trip. Leave one day less structured rather than filling every morning and evening with commitments.
Compare Dvor Tacen when you prefer staying outside the Old Town. Work through a typical day, including your return journey and where dinner fits, before deciding the location is convenient for you.
